When it comes to the Christian life, many of us are educated far beyond our level of obedience. A lot of times, the same thing happens in sports. Maybe you’re like me and you know a lot more about basketball than you actually applied to playing basketball back in the day. You know which moves to make, which shots to take, and which passes to fake. But sometimes the execution you practice doesn’t match the knowledge you have. It’s sad to say that many Christians live out their faith walk the same way. They know a lot about Christianity. They’ve memorized an endless number of Bible verses. And they can talk about theology for days. But when it comes to actually practicing what they preach and acting out what they say they believe, again the execution and the knowledge don’t match up. However, there is a way to make sure you don’t fall into this trap with your faith. The Bible makes it very clear to us how we can practice what we preach and live out our beliefs. So let’s take a look at what James, the brother of Jesus, has to say about the different ways you can walk out your faith.
