As we kick off a new series with this message, I want to drill down into one simplistic but deep phrase that Jesus made about God knowing the number of hairs on our head. In the Greek it's in the pluperfect tense which means Jesus was referring to things that had happened. In other words, Jesus is saying, "Hey guys, our great God knew the number of hairs on your head, the sum total of the hairs on your head before the foundation of the world." He knows. He’s that incredible, that awe- inspiring, that omniscient. But not only does this statement show us that God knows us; it shows us that God values us. After all, if the hairs on someone’s head are numbered, what must their soul be worth?
